Product-focused engineer who builds things end to end.
I'm a founding engineer and full-stack developer with 2.5+ years of experience building production systems in early-stage startups. My work spans product thinking, systems architecture, frontend and backend development, and applied AI.
I joined Axy as the first engineer hired and helped rebuild a scientific knowledge graph platform from the ground up — co-designing the monorepo architecture, distributed data systems, researcher submission workflows, and owning the AI retrieval pipeline.
I care about building software that actually works in production: observable, testable, and maintainable. I collaborate closely with teams, take ownership of technical decisions, and prefer shipping and iterating over debating in the abstract.

Aug 2025 – PresentFirst engineer hired. Joined when the product was an MVP and helped rebuild it into a production scientific knowledge graph platform — across frontend, backend, distributed systems, and applied AI.
- Co-designed the Turborepo monorepo, BFF/API gateway, service boundaries, shared packages, and backend architecture alongside the CTO and scientists.
- Built and scaled data systems supporting millions of scientific knowledge graph entities across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ArcadeDB, Qdrant, and Redis.
- Designed the researcher submission workflow for drafting graph changes, review and approval, conflict detection, mutation history, and safe merging into the main graph using a delta-based model.
- Moved cross-service synchronization and long-running submission merges out of synchronous API requests using AWS Lambda, SNS, and SQS — with dead-letter handling and reconciliation checks.
- Built a multi-stage retrieval pipeline using dense and sparse search in Qdrant, Reciprocal Rank Fusion, and reranking — systematically evaluated using scientific BEIR benchmarks (Recall@K, MRR).
- Owned major parts of the applied AI pipeline: embeddings, hybrid retrieval, query rewriting, reranking, context selection, agent/tool workflows, chunking, and evaluation.
- Built a Python prototype for converting scientific papers into structured knowledge graph entities.
AlphaBI
Feb 2024 – Jul 2025Contributed to an IoT monitoring platform, led API migrations, shipped internal tooling, and built a full HRMS from scratch.
- Rebuilt major parts of an IoT monitoring dashboard — 10+ production pages developed from Figma designs.
- Helped migrate backend APIs from Express to Fastify with schema validation and serialization, significantly improving production throughput and latency.
- Independently built and shipped an internal HRMS covering authentication, attendance, punch-in/out, and employee workflows within a two-week sprint using AI-assisted development.
- Developed an internal NPM logging package and integrated it across three products — Axios interceptors captured contextual API logs alongside user-reported issues, improving production debugging.
- Added unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, Playwright, and Cypress, reaching approximately 75% coverage on critical flows.
